Situated six miles N.E. of Bala - sitting high on a hillside with uninterrupted views for over 30 miles, this is unquestionably one of the most beautiful regions of Wales. An ideal location for exploring Snowdonia, with Llangollen, Chester, Harlech, Betws-y-Coed and Angelsey all within an hours drive. Visit the many historic castles, National Trust properties and gardens in the area. The local pub, The Goat, is only a ten minute drive away but we have plenty of other recommendations in our Guidebook App. The Granary is detached and very private; it is right up to date with wi-fi and a perfect mobile phone reception for all networks. We have a Smart TV so you can watch Netflix, Amazon through your own accounts. We also have 2 Sonos speakers so you can listen to your own music via Spotify or Apple Music.
There are wonderful walks from the doorstep and the whole area is perfect for the more active, with several worldclass mountain bike centres, Cader Idris and Snowdon not too far away. We can also recommend Zip World, Bounce Below, Horseriding, Whitewater Rafting and paddle-boarding.
The Granary and Tudor Cottage are separate cottages with their own private outdoor spaces that are not overlooked by anyone. Freedom to roam is a term often used by our guests - please read a few of the more recent reviews we have for the cottages.
Our local knowledge will help you have the best holiday should you have any questions. We have produced a Guidebook App that you can save to your phone - this will help guide you in and guide you to all our recommended places to visit, activities and places to eat out. I will send you a text link the App when you book.
Unfortunately we can’t allow pets of any sort and there is no smoking in the cottage.
